MEET AVA

AvaBrick22A Freelance writer, content creator, copy editor and former Editor-in-Chief of Trendsetters to Trendsetters Magazine, an Atlanta-based publication and former freelance community columnist with the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville, Florida.

Ava is a New York City native who currently lives in Atlanta. She is the mother of two grownup beautiful daughters.  She loves almost anything chocolate and admits that she could happily become a beach bum if given the chance. She thinks high- top sneakers are fun and retro and has plans to buy a pair in red – she may already own a pair by now. She proudly declares that she is the ultimate Law and Order franchise fan and watches repeats on a regular basis – she especially loves the marathons and says, “Life just feels right when Law and Order is on, and it’s ALWAYS on!”  Ava lived in Florida for many years before moving to the Atlanta area and sincerely considers Florida her second home. She and her sisters spent their childhood summers there with beloved cousins and friends.  And yet, somehow, she has managed to hold on to her New York accent, which she claims confirms her belief, “Once a New Yawker, always a New Yawker!”   She loves her Hazelnut flavored “cawfee” with the sun and a glass of Merlot with the stars. Oh, and did I mention that she’s also just one all around cool chick?
